Christmas & New Year opening times

Over the Christmas and New Year period, all our centres will be closed from Friday December 23rd to Monday January 2nd inclusive, with the exception of our contact centres which are open as follows for enquiries, bookings and applications by telephone and e-mail. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday January 3rd.

Student demonstrations – 9th November, Central London

Reports in the press suggest there are planned student protests in varying parts of London tomorrow (Wednesday 9th November). The protests are expected to begin at approximately 12 noon and last until 8pm – details of the routes identified by the Met Police are included below.  Temporary and fixed road closures around the routes are expected but we do not expect significant disruption to our business.

Paramount is the safety of our staff, students and visitors. BPP will therefore be monitoring the situation and if it is likely that a centre or office will be directly impacted, Operations managers and Centre Managing Directors and/or customer services will take action locally to inform staff and students of closure or other alternative plans. Please note the customer services team will be issuing a request to students to carry ID with them tomorrow for building access.

BPP Online Learning IT Maintenance

BPP Birmingham & BPP Manchester closing early, Wednesday August 10th

Due to ongoing disruption in the city centres, the following BPP centres will close early today, Wednesday August 10th:

  • Birmingham – closing at 6pm
  • Manchester Learning Centre, Chorlton Street – closing at 5pm
  • Manchester Law School, St. James’s Building, Oxford St – closing at 5pm

Evening classes have been cancelled and rearranged, and students are being informed.

There has been no damage to any of our sites and none of our staff have been directly affected. We apologise for the inconvenience, however we are taking police advice and wish to avoid risks with students or staff this evening.

At the moment all other centres are open as usual, but we will continue to monitor the situation.

BPP Birmingham, Croydon & Shepherd’s Bush closing early, Tuesday August 9th

Due to expected trouble in the local areas, the following BPP centres have closed early today, Tuesday August 9th.

  • Birmingham
  • Croydon
  • London Shepherd’s Bush

Our Manchester Customer Service Centre is closing at 5.30pm today instead of the usual 6pm. This means our customer service phone lines will be unavailable from 5.30pm onwards. We plan to open the lines again as usual on Wednesday morning at 8am.

We apologise for the inconvenience, however safety of our staff and students is paramount. At the moment all other centres are open as usual, but we will continue to monitor the situation.
