Advice for PD Delegates

BPP recognises that delegates attending Professional Development courses may be concerned about Swine Flu and require clarification on what to do should they become infected and also the steps BPP will take in the event of Swine Flu.

Our promise – if you are ill

If you think you have Swine Flu or it has been confirmed, please notify our Customer Service team as soon as possible. If you are ever in doubt as to what to do about your attendance on a BPP course please speak to one of our Customer Service personnel.

If you become ill with Swine Flu and it prevents you from attending a Professional Development course on which you are booked, BPP will offer you:

  • A transfer free of charge to a suitable alternative course of the same value; or
  • In the event of no suitable alternative, a credit to the value of the course booked, valid for 12 months.

Information we require if you fall ill

You will need to provide us with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Contact address, telephone number and e-mail
  • Employer (if applicable) and employer address

Our promise – if our tutor falls ill

If Swine Flu prevents one of our presenters from delivering a scheduled course, BPP will, whenever possible:

  • Keep its centres open, and
  • Provide an alternate presenter to enable the course to go ahead as scheduled.
  • If it is not possible to offer the course as scheduled, BPP will:
    • Offer an alternative date for the same course at the same location;
    • Arrange a transfer free of charge to a suitable alternative course of the same value; or
    • In the event of no suitable alternative, a credit to the value of the course booked, valid for 12 months.

Note: where these conditions differ from our standard terms and conditions, these take precedence.
